Calysta Bevier who is 16 years-old from a small town in Ohio, appeared on America’s Got Talent, she battled cancer and came to perform and also spread the message that “not matter what you have gone through, to keep chasing your dreams!” The judges were impressed and replied “you’re an inspiration”. She began to sing “Fight Song” by Rachel Platten, her beautiful voice won the audiences hearts as they couldn’t stop cheering for her at the end of her performance. All four judges stood up to give her a round of applause, Simon Cowell was pleased with her spirit, her choice of song and her voice.

He immediately got up to press the golden buzzer which brought her tears of happiness as she did not expect that to happen. He personally went to greet her and her mother on stage, to show his respect for her battling cancer at such a young age. This was one very emotional and beautiful audition that won everyones hearts that were watching. She is such an inspiration!
