Kara Mulder who has been a flight attendant for 8 years explains how passengers can get drunk very easily while up in the air. She explains that the body reacts differently to alcohol while flying in the air, which can cause problems. Being drunk in the airplane can lead to serious arguments which often get the cabin crew involved, sometimes passengers are escorted by the police when the planes land.
She explains how cabin crews can have the right to confiscate alcohol, apply temporary handcuffs and even guide people to the lavatory. Kara says it’s not fair on cabin crew but it’s part of their job making sure everyone is safe while the plane is up in the air.
