A pharmacist Don Radcliff acted out in self-defence when a 25 year-old robber called Terry Gillenwater tried to rob the pharmacy. Don realised that his colleagues were being harassed as the robber asked for all the money in the cashier, he saw that the robber had his gun pointed towards them so that’s when Don pulled out his gun. Don fired three times at Terry as the he fell to the ground, then he tried to perform CPR as he did not intend to kill him.
But it was too late as Terry died at the scene, Don’s colleagues called him a hero for saving their lives but he felt guilty. Don was not charged for killing Terry since it was an act of self-defence but he did not feel great about it.
