In Utah, Stansbury High School has introduced a new policy in which students would have to pay a fine of $3 if they turn up late to class. The school officials are hoping that the fine system would reduce class lateness as many students turn up late and get away with it. But some parents were left furious once they found out that the school had put a new fine system into place.
Some parents said it’s a ridiculous idea which could lead to children not even turning up to class since they would want to avoid the $3 fine. But the school would like to test it out to see if it would reduce lateness.
